    The Group proposed the 1.5ºC carbon reduction initiative, put forward three climate strategies and targets, and continues to advance energy and carbon reduction measures and other environmental impacts that mitigate the impacts of climate change, thereby achieving our responsibilities of protecting the environment and caring for the planet as we exert our influence on global industrial chains.

    Hon Hai Technology Group is committed to preserving biodiversity and protecting the forests. We therefore issue Biodiversity and No Deforestation Commitment to publicly commit to our goals for sustainable operations. As global citizens, we have the responsibility to actively respond to climate change and preserve biodiversity. At Hon Hai Technology Group, we implement the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our own operations, including SDG 14: Life below water, SDG 15: Life on land, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals. We moreover coordinate collaborative joint efforts with value chain partners for biodiversity conservation and no deforestation.

    Water, Waste and Air Pollution Management​​​​
    "Circular economy" is a key strategy in the Group’s promotion of sustainable development and enhancement of resource usage efficiency. Our core goal is to build zero waste campuses that implement "zero landfill" policies, actively promote recycling and reuse of water resources. The Group has also established comprehensive scientific air pollution management regulations，and regularly maintain and improve treatment facilities for waste emissions.​​​​​
